Coated ripstop over nubuck
The panels are a water-resistant coated ripstop laid over soft nubuck, stitched flat so the shoe reads as one slab of grey. It scuffs in, not out — the more you wear it, the more it looks like the thing it's named after.

Vulcanised gum platform
A 42mm vulcanised gum platform, siped for grip on wet pavement and built tall enough to keep your hems out of the city. Heavy in the hand, quiet on the foot. No air, no foam gimmicks — just rubber that lasts.
